I've used Rust Bullet. In fact I used it today on my grille support panel on my '65. The stuff is tough. I've got it all over my right hand and it won't come off! Ran out of rubber gloves.
Last summer I used it on my roof drip rail which was pretty rusty. I took everything down to bare metal as much as possible and then used Rust Bullet, seam sealer, primer and topcoat. It's been sitting outside with stagnant water every day (San Diego dew every night) and we've had quite a lot of rain. Seems to be holding up pretty well.
I'm curious to see how my grille panel fares. I did hardly any prep, just scraped and sanded a bit of loose paint. Wiped everything with a surface cleaner and then painted over old paint and rust. I even painted the frame where it sticks out for the front bumper. Wiped off the dirt and painted over the rust. Obviously a show truck.

We'll see.
