In any case it sounds like a whole lot of work and to do it right won't be cheap.
Modifying trucks takes time, a good plan, and ability to see/understand all the pieces and parts and how they might interact and interfere, then plenty of problem solving.
Are you already handy and capable of doing the necessary work?
Can you keep the truck mostly stockish and OK with driving slower? Or does it need to be a new vehicle and look old, or what compromise in between?
