Borrowed one from a friend. Locking ring only had tabs bent onto back nut, not front. Got passenger side off and have two new seals and hub gaskets ordered. However, went to try to get driver's side off, but axle flange bolt tapers(?) won't come loose. Even when hitting flange with sledge. Too dang cold to try anything else right now -18‘C in the wind, or 0‘F for most.. I'm thinking penetrating oil or mild heat, any other suggestions? | | |
