We loosened the main cap bolts about 4-5 turns and the crankshaft did not move being it is still attached th the clutch, flywheel so we tried pulling little by little and got about an inch out on both sides. We started to make a tool out of sergeant pliers but had to call it a day because of a family occasion, will continue tomorrow.
