I recently swapped a V-8 into my 1995 (2nd). I'm using a manual 3-sp overdrive trans. The problem I'm having is shifting between 2nd and 3rd...they are totally reversed (2nd gear is down, third is up)
My old 6 cyl used a bellhousing that had a pivot to switch between 2nd and 3rd...my V-8 does not.
Does anyone out there know if I need special shift linkage or special shift arms to make shifting 'normal' again?
