I checked for spark with an inline spark tester not really sure what it should look like but it VERY thin and a VERY faint orange. I ohm tested the coil and found it within spec. primary is at 1.2 ohms and secondary is at 7.8k ohms.
There is battery voltage at the positive terminal of the coil.
The engine turns over and sounds normal.
