I have a 1959 Chevrolet 235 engine that I am putting in my 1949 3100 pickup. The pan is in rough shape. Does anyone know where I can get a good used one, or a new one? I tried all of the parts outlets ( Jim Carter, etc.) but no luck. I don't know if the engine is from a car or truck, but it only takes 4 quarts of oil. There is no filter. I'm told that some of the car engines have a 4 quart capacity. The dip stick seems to be correct, however I would like some clarification. Also, does anyone have any leads on a oil pan??? Thank you.
