The restomod is a very practical idea. Looks fairly stock but you can get in it and drive anywhere in relative comfort. Mural on the tailgate as a tribute to all branches would be cool. Headliner mural could be more personal.
That is an even better idea. The bed will be a blank slate since everyone seems to agree the TF long-bed and fenders need to go. It will be just as easy to get an aftermarket tailgate w/o the Chevy logo if we want to do a backside mural.
