Some of the ones I've seen are self adhesive to stick onto the regular mirror. Could you get one of those and fabricate your own base for it with the screw post? Just a thought. Or maybe find an old wrecked mirror to use for a base. That way you could keep the original if you ever wanted to put it back on.
