In the 1958 Chevrolet Truck Shop Manual, on page 11-5 (Clutch-Diaphragm) Step No.3 in the left column states, "Hand crank the engine until "X" mark on flywheel is at the bottom".
Gonna ask this anyway, but does anyone know where to look for this "X"? I took a wire wheel on a drill and cleaned my flywheel down to shiny metal as best I could. During that process I never recall seeing an "X" on the surface.
