Thanks for that link. For some reason, paint colors are missimg from 1948 until 1955. It shows 1947 and then skips to 1957.
My gut tells me that the "443 J" was a special color, maybe a company color for a regional or national company. Are there any Chevy truck paint experts out there that might recall this number? We are still trying to locate an area that we know would be original paint to see what it looked like, no luck yet.
