1959 Taskmaster 31,
It looks like no one has a 1956 Chevrolet Truck Data Book or Restoration Guide with color names, codes, and combinations.
PPG has formulas for most old paints. They would need the make/name/year of the color (and a PPG/Ditzler code would be nice).
What is the color and/or color-combinations for your truck (to your eye)? Here is a list of Dupont
colors/combinations for 1956. The 1955/56 color chips are also at that link. Note: the color chips are old and not correctly rendered on a PC screen; however, they might help you identify the color name(s).
Once you get the name, PPG could then help you (and maybe you can find someone at Dupont to help you).
