I'm working on a 1950 3600. I bought a complete 1953 front axle, but everything from the spindles out was disassembled. Can anyone tell or show how to put it back together? I need torque specs, seal/shield locations, etc...
Also, are there any recommendations for front end upgrades? I like the original axle, but I'm thinking a sway bar, modern tie rod ends, and possibly a power steering gear. I want to keep it a stock height 3/4 ton, just easier and potentially safer to drive.
