I'm in the process of installing a NAPCO set-up on my 57 Chevy 1/2 ton (everything is rebuilt after 18 months of slow progress. I'm interested if anybody with a Tri-Five truck is running 8 inch wide rims. I'm hoping to use 16 or 17 inch height rims with a total height of around 33". Ebay has some good buys, but I'm not sure about clearances. If someone has a formula/genral rules for maximum tire/wheel size, that would be great. By the way, if anyone needs a 57 chassis, springs (3/4 ton), rear (3/4 ton approximately 3.70ish) and a stock front end, the're free if you can pick them up within two weeks (Minnesota).
