bb, if you move the rad back to those holes in the inner fenders, you need to knock the mount brackets off the frame and move them back too [assembly manual, RPO409], then you will need to fab up the shrouding above and below the rad - much easier to use a shroud so it will be a bolt-in deal, you may even be able to find an early factory shroud like I found for my 58
