You have a direct bolt up. I see you also asked this one year ago? They should be from $75-$250 used. Remove covers to inspect gear teeth, Then if you rebuild, you only need bearings and seals, not gears ($$$$$$$). Try to spin it in all gears if you can. Look for metal in bottom and good crisp input shaft splines.(little or no wiggle on that shaft or output yoke) Look to see that the power take off never used. Get one that you know came from a 1/2 ton not some 2 1/2 ton dump truck. You have some in SF Bay/Redwood City CraigsList. A dirty old rusty one sitting in the rain behind "Eddies Transmission Shop" is not the one you want. You want the one inside some guys clean painted floor garage who is swapping for a T5.
