remember that when you apply bondo, do so in layers, if you were not able to pull the metal as flat as possible like cujo8 says. that way the layers are throughly dry and set up and you don't have one big chunk of bondo in one spot.
i know it not the bolters way but you could have some shop do the rough work and you learn to do the extensive finish work. as kim says we all sucked the first couple times but you can do it.
