I was curious about it, I will have to keep an eye out at for other trucks like mine the next time I'm at the car shows. I took some photos of the part, photos are here : link to article & photos / gas tank filler neck adventure, 1965 C10 Chevy The plastic had started to flake, so that is the main reason I decided to replace it.
