You will need a clevis to hold the push pin to the brake pedal, and then be able to adjust the rod length at the clevis. Just go to the junkyard and see what you can find, most older trucks and cars used about the same sizes parts. You can alter what you find to fit your application. At the bottom of this page,
http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/chevy_master_assemblies.html is a picture of a master cylinder and a push rod, the rod assembly is what I would think you need.
If a straight rod is all you need, then a bolt would work if the ends are rounded over and smooth. Just remember, it has to be held captive with zero ways of falling out.
