After 68 years the bumpers and center shackle are usually missing or shot (anything in a wrecking yard as well). Unfortunately as I stated above these mounts are very difficult to find. I spend a lot of time searching for NOS parts for the AD series trucks and these parts are very rare. The retrofit is really pretty simple and will be a much better system over the long term, perhaps at some point one of the vendors will reproduce the correct parts but the tooling investment would probably not be justifiable.
