Purchased a cab mount kit for my 3100. The original rear rubber supports are missing on my truck. From what I've found, the originals are no longer available and may have been utilized on early model ADs. The brackets on my truck were there....sorta. They are rusted. The replacements do not fit the design of the original support brackets. Plus the shape of the rubber cushion is different...not important?
My question is: if other '47 owners have a suggestion for mounting these? I'm considering a new brace underneath to mount the new rubber support to. That would have to be mounted through thr floorboard.
Anyone have experience with this? Any thoughts or suggestions?
