set your initial timing like I said previously, you will be nearly dead on. Don't worry about dwell right now, just gap the points correctly. And no 35 degrees isn't feasible. You need to follow the steps I gave you, (there is a couple of more ways to do it, but it will suffice) you can't just look at the rotor and guess that it is close enough. if you aren't on #1 TDC you will be on #6 TDC either rotate the engine one revolution or just relocate the wires accordingly.
