I did both of mine a couple of weeks ago and the following worked well:
Removal - soak the edges of the window seal in gasoline, both sides. Let it soak in for about 1 hour, then slowly pry the seal and window out starting at the top corners. Move slowly and just apply constant, but gentle pressure. Then pull the window out with your fingers ... slowly.
Installation - coat the inside of the vent frame with motor oil. I used some available 5W-30. Push the window and seal in the frame and let it set overnight. Trim the seal the next morning.
