What's wrong with making a "no deduction" choice, and putting enough money in an interest-bearing savings account every month to cover the end-of-year tax bite? Otherwise, you're giving the government an interest-free loan all year!

I'm as patriotic as anyone, but I draw the line at letting a bunch of incompetent bureaucrats use my money all year for free!
