#11575 10/01/2003 5:37 PM | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | I had to loose the original fitting on mine because it didn't fit my 1/2" NPT hoses, so I drilled and tapped the top of my oil filter housing for an oil pressure gauge fitting. 1/8" NPT, I think. I found a nice thick spot on the outlet side of the can and the threads hold just fine. I have the original '62 filter mounted to the front of the manifold to clear my steering box.
