David, Plate and Sheet refer to the glass thickness. If I remember right, Plate was 1/4", sheet was 3/16". Plate was made of two pieces of 1/8", Sheet had one 1/8" and one 1/16". The glass had the lamination in between. This is where the problem with new door glasses dragging in the run channels comes from, Safety Sheet is a thing of the past. Your curved quarter glasses are tempered, hence "Solid" (not laminated). Just some useless info from an old glass guy. John
