Vented valve cover ...yes, all paved roads no dirt roads. Valve adjustment ..yes to get it hot and adjust not running for my solid lifters. I like blue engines like a blue flame 235 key word blue. Vented cover was hard to find..at least for us thats why we took a chance and bought one. Tim has great insight to these old engines his advice is always right on...thanks Tim
