Very smooth when taking off easy (most likely just one barrel of each carb being used); and, no hesitation but much more power when taking off fast (most likely the second barrel of each carb cutting in).
Gas mileage was good:
- up to 18 mpg at 55-60 mph ~ 2,100-2,300 rpm
- 12-14mpg at around 65 mph ~ 2500 rpm | | |
