For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 103 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 103 | I'm having a heck of a time trying to remove the bolts in the forward end of the rear leaf springs on my '38. The hangers at the back end were simple enough, but the front bolts don't want to cooperate. I haven't yet resorted to brute force out of fear that I'll cause a bigger problem.
If I'm reading the shop manual right, the forward end is simply a plain bushing with a bolt through it. If so, brute force may be the right method. Can anyone give some advice? Thanks. | | |
