Yea golly for sure. Do what you like. Of the 3,000 Gallery stories I have done for this site, there has been quite the stretch ("That is a truck" to "Totally original? No way?!). I think the most amazing has been seeing the people who make a crew cab using two trucks.
We had
an old Army 5-ton dump truck (just went to a new home today) that John "personalized" reflecting USMC-pride) including an Eagle Glob and Anchor hood ornament.
So, if you like the mouldings, use them. It's one of those things that can come off, too, if you change your mind later.
