The gas pedal return spring keeps pulling the dash throttle knob back closed when I pull it out. Had carb rebuilt, new dash throttle control installed and got somethin wrong. Worked perfect before I messed with it. Go ahead, hit me, hurt me, I deserve it!!!! Rochester B 1 bbl carb w/manual choke on a 261. Carb linkage comes up from the bell crank and turns 90 into the carb throttle lever hole. A pic or 2 might be worth a thousand words.
