I just ordered a pair for fenders for my 64 C10 as well as a pair of rocker panel replacements.
I can handle this part of it, as well as repairing the "glass bottom boat" feature in my floorboards.
What I'm wondering about is the grill and bumper. They're pretty rusty:

I can approach this a coupla ways. I can buy new parts (expensive), I could hit 'em with a sander, then Zero-Rust and re-paint 'em....or I could take 'em to a nearby place and have 'em media blasted and then do the re-paint thing.
I plan to paint the truck in semi-gloss black (rat rod thing) so I'm not sure if I want white or even gloss black grille and bumper. Chrome might look mighty nice with the semi-gloss black.
If you've got any ideas and/or pics, I'd sure like to hear what ya have to say.
Oh...at the same time the body work goes on, I'll be prettying up the engine compartment, adding an AFB carb (625 Carter on a 292) and Hedman Hedders.
I think it's gonna turn out pretty nice....just gonna be a lotta work.
So please lemme know how you've handled rusty grilles and bumpers.
