They use push button door handles, they also have no vent in side panel on drivers side. '51 Chevy cabs use pull down door handles so latches were different. '54 and 1st series '55 Chevy cabs went to 1 piece windshields. I'm not as familar with GMC cabs, they must have gone to push button door handles a year before Chevy from your description of your '51.  | | |
