Started to install these new grommets that I got from JC trucks on my 1949 3100 1/2 ton. The I.D. of the speedometer grommet is too large for the new metal speedo cable. I.D. looks to be 1/4" and the O.D. on the new metal cable is 3/16". The small wiring harness grommet at the firewall is too small for the hole in the firewall. It installs, but slides all around in the hole on the firewall. Is there any other suppliers that would have the correct size grommets?
