SimS 'Bolter S Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 326 Georgia	Jerry I'm pretty sure the earlier one barrel governors were mechanical. One of Tim's links has a good write up on the operational theory. I know the later four barrel governors were speed sensing off of the distributor tach signal. SimS
