I am in the process of taking my truck apart to strip & repair for paint. I had to cut a weld to get the bedsides separate from the rear rool pan which was all bent-up. Just curious what everybody has done at re-assembly time - reweld and paint the whole bed as a unit after - or paint the pieces separate and just bolt them back together ? I am afraid the bolts may allow wiggling, but painting the whole assembly seems like it would be a pain. Ideas?
