Assuming you have an inclosed u-joint/drive-shaft:
I've used Fel-Pro, Best Gasket, and the set sold by
Classic Parts.
Those paper gaskets are adjustment shims
(ball collar shims - left column). ". . a thin metal shim with a impregnated silicon seal would be much better . ." - however, you would not be able to adjust the ball joint collar seal.
