Test spark with inline spark tester between the plug and plug wire.

Or a spare plug on the plug wire with threads touched to ground. Hold by an insulated handle pliers.

Or a small Philips screw driver in the plug wire shaft held about a 1/8 inch off the engine block.

While someone cranks engine look for spark.
