I was changing the points on my 38 216 when the phenolic block that holds the stud for the points connection, disintegrated. I managed to adapt a block from a later distributor to get on the road again. The new block has a recessed round nut on the outside with a slot on each side. I used a small screwdriver to tighten it.

Is there a special tool for this kind of nut? Also, does anyone supply these little insulating blocks for the distributor?
