Snap-On sold a Delco distributor tool that had an 11/32" nut driver on one end, and the 2-pronged spanner on the other, back in the 50's and 60's. Just about everybody at our shop except former Ford dealer mechanics had one. I think I've still got a couple of them stashed away in Dad's old tool box.

The shade tree method was to grind a narrow slot in a straight-blade screwdriver to straddle the stud.
