yes, it is that easy - you should let the glass guy do it tho' so he takes the loss when it breaks!
the 'small rope' needs to be nylon cord less than about 1/4" and takes 2 to do it - it really does help to have some experience with the curved glass - hasta be 'persuaded' a bit
