| | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 | I had engine pans on my 39 for over 30 years. Started experiencing vapor lock 3-4 years ago. Removed the pans last summer and have not had the problem since. Does make it a lot easier to work on the exhaust, generator, starter, etc. with them off.
