Lots of information on rebuilding the Carb. Some of us have noticed, an issue with "modern" fuel and sticky needle/ seat issues. My thoughts are old fuel residue in the tank and lines. Clean and clean again is the only fix. Stock carburetor is good. Follow the book and it should work just fine. Puddle in the intake, flooding. I bet you have wet plugs as well. I use 2 fuel filters. One in the line from tank to pump. And the second in line from pump to carb. Lots of vendors for kits. One is a member, CarbKing. He has good looking kits and a lot of information. Check it out. The mantra for carburetors, is simple " Dirt is not my friend". Enjoy, it can be fun.
