I have the same trans you do in my '46. What you need is a torque tube seal kit:

You'll have to pull the U-joint apart to install.

While you have the U-joint apart, check for play in the front of the driveshaft. If you have play, you probably need an Oakie bushing. Also give the U-joint a good looking over - frequently a source of vibration on these trucks when worn.
