1953 stock 3100. Eight NEW boards, new strips, all bolts in and strip holes line up. The problem is not enough distance between boards. Only 3/8 inch between boards. The strips are riding on top of the boards and are higher than the wood. I think the strips are to wide. Can someone give me a width on these strips?
