| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | | Neverdone Unregistered | | Neverdone Unregistered | When I went to reassemble the front clip I was gaining [ or losing ] ¾ to one inch Things came to a halt when installing the grill.
I brought my 53 ¾ pickup over beside it and measured this grill appears to be about ¾ to 1 inch shorter and confirmed by clitis in a post above .
I found another grill that the guy swears came from a ½ pickup and it is the same size as the one that does not fit.
The frame rails on the one ton extend past the front of the truck and this appears to be the part of the fitting problem
So my question is, did they also use different size grills in the ½ . ¾ and one ton trucks I really do not want to take the original grill out of the pickup .
ANY advise would be helpful
Thanks Dan
