The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline 3:73 for Eaton HO72 rear

Great thread but I have a few questions 'cause I'm not always the sharpest knife in the drawer.

1-Are the HO52 and the HO72 rear ends identical as far as third member size, axles and bearings? Is the difference in designation just because of the models they were used in, 3/4 vrs. 1 ton?

2-Will the 4.11,(37/9)third members used in the C30 one ton trucks fit regardless of year?

3-Are all 4.11's (37/9) Eaton rear ends?

4-Are all 4.10's (41/10) Dana rear ends?
