Denny, yes, I was talking about an unrestored and unmolested 54 3604. I recall it being in incredibly good shape and to me, yes, it is beautiful as it is. I am confused though... You say now you have a "4.10" center section ready for your 54, and that your 50, which I'm going to assume is also an 8 lugger, already has one. Are you saying that you're not debating whether there is a higher ratio gear set available but whether it's technically referred to as a 4.10 or a 4.11?
