WE have to have a state police inspection here in Arkansas. Not sure how Florida handles builds. But can get in some hot water here if u fiddle with the vin tag
I wouldn't mess with it if it were me. Its ur project and u know best. The alternative would be they may end up titling it as a ranger
Theres a build story on the HAMb where a guy didn't title his project right and it was stolen. When they recovered it he lost out as they titling was illegal.
