| | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 60 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 60 | finishing up my 1940 chevy cab hot rod sitting on a Ranger Frame w/SBC. Question concerns the data plate, which appears to be mounted on the passenger side cowl area. I can only see the VIN stamped at the bottom right (5KD12xxxx) and a '58' stamped in the middle. I know the main codes but not the 58. ?????
